Each individual can start the course any time is convenient for him/her and follow their own study pace according to their personal schedule. You just need a PC/laptop or tablet with Internet connection. Acquire a world-wide recognised specialisation certificate from City and Guilds/Institute of Leadership and Management This elearning course has been endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management - ILM, part of the world wide recognised vocational award body City & Guilds, recognising the high quality of the offered course. (Optionally but strongly recommended) Any participant that has successfully completed the course with some small extra cost is entitled for receiving a specialisation certificate in funding and managing european funded projects by ILM. In any case, according to the new funding rules for the programming period 2014-2020, participants should prove their technical capacity for participating in most of the european projects and receive EC grants. In this case, such a certification for the organisation's staff will be a significant credit for the technical capacity of any organisation that is involved in european projects. Well structured with specific learning objectives and path The learning path comprises 7 modules and at the end of each module, you need to reach at least 80% on the quiz module in order to proceed to the next one. You can try each quiz as many times as you wish without any penalties. As soon as all 7 Modules are completed you need to complete a small assignment for receiving also your specialisation certificate by City&Guilds/ILM (Optional). You have one month in total to complete the course and if it is not possible for you then you get one more month extension. (Normally students complete it in around 3 weeks). Live One-to-One Tutoring Sessions to address individual needs and expectations The success of our eCourse is based also on the live interaction with the trainer on a one-to-one basis. Each participant has to arrange at least one skype/live meeting at the beginning of the course for orientation and setting priorities and one at the end for confirming the achievement of the course learning objectives with the instructor. In addition, each participant can arrange weekly skype/live meetings with the instructor in order to discuss any questions on the course. In this respect, we guarantee to address the training needs and expectations of each participant. Course Structure

Cost and Registration
The course fee is 350 € per participant. All participants at the end of the course will receive a certificate of successful participation. However, in addition, since this course is endorsed by ILM - Institute of Leadership and Management, part of City and Guilds, all participants are strongly encouraged to go through the assessment process of the course and receive also a specialisation certificate in funding and implementing european projects issued by ILM. The cost for entering the assessment process and receiving the ILM certificate is 250€ per participant and it is strongly recommended since it enhances the technical capacity of the organisation you are involved. Mr. Nikolaos Floratos (B.Eng, M.Sc, DIC, MBA, PhD Researcher) the last 16 years offers his services as an expert in planning and managing large and small projects in the area of research, education, ICT (Information Communication Technologies), social inclusion, entrepreneurship, standardization and consumer issues. He has supported hundreds of individuals and organisations mainly from Europe but also from all over the world on how to apply and manage state funding (e.g. from European Commission, National Funds, etc) and receive support for deploying their business idea or mission. Also he has delivered recently courses in proposal writing for funding European projects at Cergy Pontoise University in Paris in the context of a Master course on European Projects as well as at European Project Academy in Brussels in the context of the Master in Technologies for the development of European Projects. Furthermore, Mr Nikolaos Floratos has been engaged as expert by the European Commission on evaluating proposals requesting EC funding as well as reviewing EU projects since 2003 and he has managed so far more than seventy EU projects since 1997. He presents the most suitable mix as an EC expert and project manager with teaching experience and skills.
