Methodology and Tools

The whole seminar follows our innovative model approach "Learn-it-easy OR drop-it-easy"TM that we have developed and applied in all our training practices. It is based on the foundation that any learning exercise  should be based on the seven (e-)s, exiting, enthusiastic, energetic, emotional, extended, excellent and educational in order to be engaging and effective. The training course will have a duration of 25 face-to-face teaching hours as well as 10 more hours through self-learning in the afternoons and a follow up through virtual discussions and group work. Each topic allows sufficient time for discussion as well as Questions and Answers Sections.
The whole training will be delivered also through e-Learning practices and related tools so that participants can follow under real situation.
The whole seminar is based on state of the art pedagogies and tools such as mindmaps, zooming software and it is highly interactive and heavily based on group sessions. It is characteristic that no presentation slides are used for the training and all participants are provided with access to various related free e-book publications for optional further reading.
Innovative techniques, such as zooming software, mindmaps, social media learning, self-tests, assignments as well as an extensive virtual library with related e-books  for each topic are available to the course participant.
Free wireless access is provided and also laptops can be available for group activities. However, trainees are encouraged to bring their own laptop and use it for taking notes and accessing the course material online during the training session for direct and personal training delivery. During the training, participants will discuss with the trainers successful and effective techniques in dissemination and compare them with widely applied bad practices that should be avoided. All course participants are expected to maintain access and communication with the rest of their colleagues as well as with the trainers through the e-Learning platform and share views and participate in virtual discussions for one more month. Trainers will also be available for any further questions, they may have.Furthermore, all participants will be encouraged to join a virtual group "Effective Dissemination of European Funded Projects" for keeping in touch and sharing views and opinions in regards to promotion and raising awareness of European Projects for unlimited time.

Who should attend

Any person that currently seeks to advance their profesional skills and competencies as well as their job prospects should attend this course. More than 900 billion EURO are allocated at each programming period by the European Union on funded european projects coming from tax payers. Therefore, it is of paramount importance and also a contractual obligation to ensure that all funded projects are disseminated properly and effectively. However, most of the projects overlook dissemination and exploitation and even if they have produced results of high quality, their impact is very low. Therefore, there is a big need for competent and skilled dissemination managers.
Furthermore, even experienced dissemination managers are expected to benefit considerably from this course. New easy techniques are mastered as well as tips, tools, advice and support  is provided that will make the life even of an experienced dissemination manager easier and  their job function more effective.

Main Instructor

The event is supported by an international team of experts in implementing projects including dissemination. The main instructor is Mr Nikolaos Floratos that is involved in international projects in the educational area of more than 10 years. He has organised successfully various dissemination events, award ceremonies, international workshops. He is an expert engaged from the European Commission on assessing european funded projects and has been key-note speaker in very big events organised by significant actors, e.g. by the European Commission and the United Nations in their headquarters in New York.
